Where does sex take place?

Sex should only take place within the confines of marriage.

In the Glorious Qur'an (2:223) states that, “Your women are a tilth for you (to cultivate) so go to your tilth as ye will, and send (good deeds) before you for your souls, and fear Allah, and know that ye will (one day) meet Him. And give glad tidings to believers, (O Muhammad).”

This verse is interpreted as a reminder to believers to be mindful of their actions and to keep sexual relations within the confines of marriage.

Prohibition of adultery (zinna)

The Qur'an states that adultery (or "zinna") is a major sin and is strictly forbidden.

In Surah Al-Isra, verse 32, Allah says, “And do not approach zinna; surely it is an abomination and an evil way.”

Kuma kada ku kusanci zina.

These verse emphasize the gravity of the sin of adultery and the need to stay away from it.

Punishment for adultery (zinna)

In the Quran, adultery is considered a major sin and is punishable by severe punishment. According to Surah An-Nur, verse 2, adulterers shall be punished with 100 lashes. In addition, the Quran states that those who accuse others of adultery without proof should be punished with 80 lashes (Surah An-Nur, verse 4).

The woman and the man guilty of adultery or fornication,- flog each of them with a hundred stripes: Let not compassion move you in their case, in a matter prescribed by Allah, if ye believe in Allah and the Last Day: and let a party of the Believers witness their punishment.

In addition, the Qur'an states that those who accuse others of adultery without proof should be punished with 80 lashes (Surah An-Noor, verse 4).

And those who launch a charge against chaste women, and produce not four witnesses (to support their allegations),- flog them with eighty stripes; and reject their evidence ever after: for such men are wicked transgressors.

Kuma waɗanda ke jĩfar mãtã masu kãmun kai, sa'an nan kuma ba su jẽ da shaidu huɗu ba to, ku yi musu bũlãla, bũlãla tamãnin, kuma kada ku karɓi wata shaida tãsu, har abada. Waɗancan su ne fãsiƙai.
